(School of Geography and Tourism, Jiaying University, China) Dr Ou spent almost 12 months at ALRL undertaking research into glacial sediments from the Tibetan Plateau.
This work was presented at the International Electron Spin Resonance and Luminescence Dating conference held in Montreal in 2014.
the last one isn't of great importance, but i wouldn't really want to go 3 years without having 1 date haha :') I know this is a lot but I can't find any of this in the prospectus and I'd rather have honest opinions from students who are there :-) Thanks!
No matter how old you are or what stage of life you’re at, finding and meeting woman looking for a man in Aberystwyth, Wales, United Kingdom, especially those who look like your dream girl, can be really hard.
These visits both enrich the laboratory and are an important part of the work of ALRL in fostering luminescence research in the UK and around the world. Overwash sands found in the core record hurricane strikes, and Anni used luminescence to date these. Luminescence characteristics of quartz from the southern Kenyan Rift Valley: Dose estimation using LM-OSL SAR. (Institute of Geography, University of Copenhagen, Denmark) As part of her masters programme, Anni visited ALRL and undertook work on a sediment core from a New England salt marsh. Improving the TT-OSL SAR protocol through source trap characterisation. (Department of Earth Sciences, The University of Hong Kong) Dr Li spent a period of several months at ALRL using our single grain system designed for analysis of feldpsars (using an IR laser for optical stimulation) to assess whether single grain feldspars could be used for his i IRSL isochron method. This work has been presented at a number of conferences, including the International Coastal Sedimentology meeting held in Portugal (April 2009).
